Choosing an agency

How to choose a digital marketing agency in Noida (checklist)

A practical checklist for business owners choosing a digital marketing agency in Noida or Delhi NCR, with the questions to ask and the red flags to watch for.

A business owner reviewing an agency proposal checklist

Noida and Delhi NCR have a lot of digital marketing agencies, and many of their websites say similar things. This checklist helps you look past the claims and choose an agency that will actually bring your business enquiries.

Before you start: know what you want

Write down, in one or two lines, what a good result looks like for you. For example: "20 more enquiries a month for our clinic" or "a new website that our sales team is proud to share". An agency can only be judged against a clear goal.

The checklist

1. Can they show real work?

Ask for live websites, real social media accounts they manage and case studies with named clients. Screenshots and logos on a slide are not enough. If they cannot show work similar to yours, ask why they are confident about your project.

2. Do they talk about results or activity?

"We'll post 20 times a month" is activity. "We'll aim to lower your cost per lead" is a result. Good agencies focus on what the work achieves and explain how they will measure it.

3. Will you own your accounts?

Your website, domain, Google Ads account, Meta ad account, Google Analytics and Google Business Profile should all be in your business's name. The agency gets access to manage them. If an agency insists on owning them, walk away.

4. How will they report?

Ask to see a sample monthly report. It should be short, in plain language, and show what matters to your business: enquiries, sales, cost per lead, with what changes next month. Pages of charts with no explanation are a warning sign.

5. Who will actually do the work?

Ask who works on your account day to day, and whether any of it is outsourced. Meeting the people who plan and make your work is one of the best ways to judge quality.

6. Do they understand your customers?

A good agency asks a lot of questions about your customers, your sales process and what makes you different before proposing anything. A proposal that arrives before those questions is usually a template.

7. Is the quote clear?

The quote should list what is included, what isn't, the timeline and any running costs such as ad budgets, hosting or software. Ad budgets should be paid directly to Google or Meta from your own account.

Red flags

  • Guaranteed rankings or "#1 on Google" promises. No one controls Google's results.
  • Guaranteed leads without knowing your business, budget or market.
  • Long lock-in contracts before any work has been proven.
  • Vague reports full of impressions and followers, with no enquiries.
  • Refusing to share access to your own ad accounts or analytics.

Questions to ask in the first meeting

  1. What would you do in the first 90 days, and why?
  2. How will you track enquiries from each channel?
  3. What will I see in the monthly report?
  4. Who owns the accounts, content and website?
  5. What do you need from us to make this work?

Local or remote?

A local agency is useful when you want to meet in person, need shoots at your location or want someone who knows the local market. Many businesses also work well with agencies in other cities. What matters most is clear communication and honest reporting.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best digital marketing agency in Noida?

The best agency is the one that fits your goals, shows relevant real work, keeps your accounts in your name and reports clearly on results. Use the checklist above to compare two or three agencies side by side.

Should I hire separate agencies for my website, social media and ads?

You can, but it often means separate reports and no one responsible for the overall result. One team handling everything makes it easier to keep the brand consistent and track which channel brings enquiries.
